EV Charging, Fully Integrated
End to End

Voltline coordinates the complete design, supply, and installation of EV charging infrastructure — whether you need full turnkey delivery, a retrofit for an existing building, or just expert equipment and commissioning after your contractor finishes the rough-in.

One partner for the
entire charging project

We offer three engagement models so every project — regardless of how far along it is — has a clear path to a live, commissioned charging system.

Tier 1

Full Turnkey

You hand us the keys. We coordinate design consultants, electrical contractors, equipment supply, permits, installation, and commissioning from start to finish.

  • Site assessment & load analysis
  • Design consultant coordination
  • Utility & permit coordination
  • Equipment procurement & supply
  • Licensed electrical installation
  • OCPP commissioning & handover
Tier 3

Supply & Commission

If your design consultant and electrical contractor are already in place, we step in after the rough-in — supplying compliant equipment and commissioning the complete charging system.

  • EV charger requirements review
  • Equipment supply (Level 2 & DCFC)
  • Termination & mounting after rough-in
  • OCPP 1.6 network configuration
  • Load balancing & scheduling setup
  • Operator training & documentation

How a project
comes together

Every project follows a clear, structured workflow — no guesswork, no surprise scope gaps between trades.

1

Discovery & Site Assessment

We review your site, electrical service, parking layout, and fleet or tenant requirements to define the right scope and equipment type.

2

Design Coordination

We coordinate with your design consultant (or bring one in) to align charger specifications, load management strategy, and panel capacity with the electrical drawings.

3

Equipment Supply

We source and supply CSA-certified EVSE equipment matched to your load profile, network requirements, and site environment.

4

Installation & ESA Inspection

Licensed electrical contractors complete the installation under our coordination. We manage ESA permit and inspection from start to sign-off.

5

Commissioning & Handover

We configure OCPP network connectivity, load balancing, user access, and reporting — then walk your team through the complete system.

EV charging installation process

Why Voltline

We're not a general electrical contractor who installs EV chargers on the side. EV charging infrastructure is our entire focus.

Power Systems Engineering

We assess transformer capacity, protection coordination, and load management before a single conduit is run — preventing costly surprises mid-project.

OCPP Smart Charging

Full OCPP 1.6 network configuration, load balancing, scheduling, and real-time monitoring — not just hardware on a wall.

Design Team Fluency

We speak the language of engineers of record, reducing back-and-forth and keeping projects on schedule when multiple consultants are involved.

Single Point of Accountability

No gaps between trades. We coordinate every discipline — design, supply, electrical, commissioning — under one accountable scope.

Fleet & Depot Expertise

From condo retrofit EV-readiness to commercial EV depots with 50+ chargers — we understand load profiles and phased deployment strategies.

ESA & Ontario Code Compliant

All work coordinated to Ontario Electrical Safety Authority standards, with licensed electrical contractors managing permits and inspections.

Electrical engineer working on EV charging infrastructure

Engineering expertise
applied to EV

Voltline was founded by a power systems and EV charging infrastructure specialist with hands-on experience designing electrical distribution systems, building OCPP-compliant EV depot platforms, and coordinating complex multi-trade electrical projects across Ontario.

We exist because most EV charger installations are handled by generalist electrical contractors who treat the charger as just another appliance. The power systems context — transformer capacity, protection coordination, load management, and network integration — gets missed entirely, leading to underperforming installations and expensive post-installation upgrades.

Based in Toronto, Ontario, we serve the Toronto Region, GTA, and clients province-wide for larger projects.
